This book was published in November 2021, years before the attempted assassination of Trump in Butler, PA.. Writing it was my antidote to the misery of the pandemic, and I was delighted when it hit Amazon’s top spot in Political Humor. Lampooning the powerful is a sacred freedom of we English-speaking people, and here, I celebrate it. Given the events of July 13, 2024, the cover image may make some uncomfortable and mislead others concerning the book’s content. But rest assured, as one 5-star reviewer noted… No oranges were harmed in the making of this book. Lol.

The Story

To entrap an old flame who’s trying to kill him and boost his poll ratings at the same time, an embattled US President sets up a fake assassination targeting himself.

The Cast

The US President – John Thomas Rump, Secret Service codename Horndog.

The (anti) Hero – Gatlin Fry, an aging gigolo asset stripping old ladies on the Costa Blanca.

The Angry Ex – Eve Coronata, the billionaire founder of the dating app CringR and former (alleged) presidential lover with a terrible secret.

The Fixer – Benedetto (Benny) Capone, the President’s lawyer, a former prosecutor and mobster mayor.

The Handler – Felicity Drillbit, a part-time dominatrix and full-time strange person.

The Ferret The world’s most deadly (and only non-binary) assassin.

Plus a supporting cast of weirdos.

It’s a genius plan, so long as it fails. Should the assassination succeed, well… even Horndog is smart enough to figure that one out. So fail it must, and that calls for an operative with a special set of skills…

Enter our hero, Gatlin Fry, a dishonorably discharged MI6 agent and degenerate, rat-fink turncoat the President can count on bollix it all up.

But what if it goes right by mistake?

Will the President survive his D-Day trip to France? Will Gatlin end up rich, or in Guantanamo Bay?

Sweet justice awaits someone, but who?

All is revealed in this irreverent and wickedly funny satirical thriller.
